Health and Safety Level 1/2
£400 (Full Day) £250 (Half Day)
Direct Training offer both Level 1 and Level 2 Health and Safety courses. These courses will give staff a basic awareness and understanding of their health and safety roles and responsibilities and how following best practice guidelines can help to reduce incidents and issues arising. As part of these courses you will also look at risk assessments and the responsibilities of employers and employees.
Food Safety Level 1/2
£400 (Full Day) £250 (Half Day)
Direct Training offer both Level 1 and Level 2 Food Safety courses. These courses will give staff an introduction to topics such as; food, hygiene, nutrition and hydration. Covering areas such as facilitating and supporting eating and drinking, assistance with eating and drinking and best practice for nutritional care.
Fire Safety Awareness
£400 (Full Day) £250 (Half Day)
Fire Safety Awareness is an excellent practical and theoretical training course, where you will learn all the essentials of fire safety. A formal assessment will be completed and all theory and practical elements of the course have to be attended. This course is a great way to make you stand out from the crowd!
Infection Control
£400 (Full Day) £250 (Half Day)
Direct Training offer the level 1 Infection Control course. This course aims to teach carers the basics of how to prevent the spread of infections and disease through: correct hand washing techniques, understanding the chain of infection, how to break the chain and usage of personal protective equipment. During the course you will discuss the various instances through which infection can occur within a carer’s day to day role.
Mandatory Object Handling
£400 (Full Day) £250 (Half Day)
Mandatory Object Handling is an excellent practical and theoretical training course, where you will learn all the essentials of how mandatory object handling should be carried out. A formal assessment will be completed and all theory and practical elements of the course have to be attended. This course is a great way to make you stand out from the crowd!
Manual People Handling
£400 (Full Day) £250 (Half Day)
This course is designed to limit the risk of injury to those who are physically caring for people. The course identifies best practice and the correct techniques as well as theory and legislation/regulations. At Direct Training we focus heavily on the practical aspect to ensure that staff are comfortable, confident and competent at the techniques taught during the class.
